I’m here today to save you the headache of falling flat on your first chapter by sharing my top five tips for tackling those first few pages. Here are my tips:

  1. Be late to the party

  2. Introduce your MC

  3. Bypass the backstory

  4. Use your voice

  5. Read other first chapters!
